Definitely one of the more interesting Valentines Days of recent memory, I have got to say. Also, I sort of enjoyed whatever the hell was going on with everyone and the friendly and the happy and all. I got hugged a lot, sometimes by people I actually know and sometimes by people I don't. Entertainment value aside, I think we should have "Hug Random People Out of Pure Joie de Vivre Day" every month or two. Hugs are nice. It'd be a good way to improve morale.
Private to Marlene: So... did you send me a valentine asking to have sex?
Because... you know... I'm not exactly against the idea of...
You know, if you were...
You totally didn't write it, did you?

[Hexed against Torin... and Aurea, for that matter]
I miss my bed.
And also the option of privacy by having curtains which I can close around said bed, should I so choose to. I don't sleep naked normally, but good God I miss having the choice to do it if I wanted to.

Huh. Well, that's not as bad as I half-expected. Could have been much, much worse Want to meet up for supper or something, Bucklin?

So... it's Monday, which, obviously, sucks. However, I am still riding high on the residual euphoria of sweet, sweet victory (Ravenclaw rules and Gryffindor drools, nyah nyah!) from the game this weekend, so I suppose it's almost balanced out.
On the not-so-cool side of things, I haven't had a good night's sleep for a few days now. And not just because the idea of having any more nightmares is still freaking me out either, though I suppose that isn't helping. Just haven't been able to get comfortable.

Oh, Christmas. How I adore thee.
So, Mum actually sent an owl from wherever she is with gifts for my Father and myself. I got a pair of protective charmed, handcrafted leather gauntlets. Next term Quidditch, here I come. And I gotta tell you, the starving pygmies of Wherever-the-fuck do a wicked awesome job with their handcrafted leather.
Gifts aside, I kind of want to get out of the house a bit. Father's... well, I don't want to use the words "smothering me"... Anyway, is anyone else in the Greater London area over the holidays? And by "anyone else", I obviously mean "anyone who will be more interesting to hang out with than just me talking to myself".

Oh, thank you God to be back in London again. No offense meant to my roommates or anything, but you lot really are the very worst kind of slobs to live with. Seriously.
Father and our housekeeper have done a wonderful job on decorating up the house for the holidays. Plus, there's eggnog. Lots of eggnogg. Which makes me very happy.
Having Mother around would have been nice too, of course. We're not sure if she's going to be back at some point before I go back to school or not, since we haven't heard from her for a while now. She's probably magicking up sturdier mud huts for starving pygmy children in Ethiopia or something, Merlin only knows.
